Measuring daily productivity is crucial, but looking only at 24-hour windows can make you lose sight of the bigger picture. A single high-stress day or a quiet holiday can skew your perception. To understand your true velocity, you must zoom out and evaluate your weekly patterns.

High performers run a weekly review process to analyze trends, check cumulative metrics, and optimize their strategy for the upcoming week.

Criene facilitates this with Weekly Summaries — an automated retro-audit compiled every Sunday.

The Necessity of Macro Evaluation

Daily tracking keeps you accountable in the sprint. Weekly retrospectives ensure you are running in the right direction.

If you rely solely on daily scores, you risk two opposite psychological traps:

  1. Micro-Despair: Having two low-scoring days due to illness or an unexpected emergency makes you feel like your system is failing, despite five high-velocity days earlier in the week.
  2. Micro-Complacency: Having two elite 95-point days makes you feel accomplished, blinding you to four lazy 40-point days that dragged down your weekly average.

The week (7 days, 168 hours) is the natural operational unit for human output. It is long enough to absorb daily volatility, yet short enough to allow rapid strategic adjustments before bad habits compound.

THE SUNDAY SUMMARY PARADIGM

To unlock and log your weekly summary, two core conditions must be met:

  • 01. Sunday App Access: You must log in to the app on Sunday to trigger the weekly calculation.
  • 02. Active Days Threshold: You must have logged at least **3 active days** in the week (Sunday to Saturday) for a summary to generate.

Interacting with Your Weekly Summaries in Criene

Weekly Summaries are designed to act as both immediate checkpoints and permanent progress logs:

1. HomeScreen Notification Icon

Every Sunday, if you meet the active days threshold (at least 3 active days logged between Sunday and Saturday), a dedicated Weekly Summary card icon appears on your HomeScreen directly above the Ciara action button. Tapping it opens a comprehensive performance review card covering your past 7 days.

2. Historical Summary Archive

You can review all your past weekly summaries in a structured log. Navigate to Profile (top right icon on the HomeScreen) → Weekly Summary to view your complete history of weekly reviews.

This archive becomes your macro timeline of personal growth over 3, 6, and 12 months.

What the Weekly Summary Measures — The 4 Core Metrics

The Weekly Summary aggregates your daily effort into four actionable growth metrics:

1. Weekly PAS Average

Calculates the mean of your daily Personal Achievement Scores across all active days in the week. A weekly average of 78+ indicates Solid Momentum across the board, while an average below 60 signals structural issues in task capacity or habit execution.

2. Execution & Planning Accuracy

Compares total tasks planned against total tasks completed across the week. This reveals your macro planning accuracy. If you planned 40 tasks across 7 days but completed only 22, your weekly planning accuracy is 55% — clear empirical proof that you are over-committing during evening planning.

3. Habit Integrity Ratio

Audits your routine microtask habit completion rates across the 7-day window. It surfaces which specific habits achieved 100% execution and which ones suffered repeated lapses.

4. Discipline Safety Check (Iron Rules & Lives)

Summarizes any rule violations logged in your Death Record during the week, showing how many of your 3 monthly lives were consumed. If two lives were consumed in a single week, your streak is in immediate danger for the remainder of the month.

The Sunday Retrospective Ritual: A 5-Step Process

To extract maximum value from your Sunday Weekly Summary:

  1. Open the Sunday Card: Tap the Weekly Summary icon on your HomeScreen every Sunday.
  2. Review Your PAS Average: Compare this week’s average to last week’s average. Is your baseline score moving in the right direction?
  3. Audit Your Failures: Open Profile → Death Record to review the written reasons for any Iron Rule violations logged during the week.
  4. Prune Your Habits & Tasks: If a habit reached <50% completion, adjust its daily schedule or reduce task load for the upcoming week using Ciara AI.
  5. Set Next Week’s Target: Define your target weekly PAS average for the upcoming 7 days before closing your Sunday review.

Sharing Your Growth (Social Proof & Accountability)

The Weekly Summary card in Criene is designed to be easily captured and shared. Sharing your weekly performance summary with an accountability partner, mentor, or online community (such as Twitter/X or productivity groups) adds an external layer of social proof to your personal tracking.

When external accountability is paired with internal mathematical scoring, consistency increases dramatically.

Evaluate your week. Learn from the data. Optimize your grind.
